Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie (b. April 9, 1987), is an American R&B/Soul singer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia Her debut album, Fearless was released in 2008. The album topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was also certified platinum by Recording Industry Association of America. The album was followed by four singles including "Need U Good" as well as "Bust Your Windows" that both are in the top 40 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart; The latter was Sullivan's debut and the sole number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan came out with Love Me Back in 2010 as her second studio album. It also received a positive review by critics. After a hiatus of 3 years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records and released her debut album as a studio under the label, Reality Show, in 2015, and it became her first album to peak at the top of the Top R&B Albums chart. She released the critically-acclaimed Heaux Tales EP in 2021. It features "Pick up Your Feelings". Sullivan has won two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards over the course of her professional career. in 2022 Time listed her as one of the 100 most influential people.
